Thanks, David. The Simple Table Display element does not allow a Boolean data type and, since I will always be sending flow to the table, in order to then use its output to load the Chooser's option list, your number 2 is interesting but no help for my case.
However, I seem to have found an answer which works as far as hiding the table - it remains to be seen whether I can use the Chooser list to get the right result. I have simply changed the Simple Table display element in my popup to a data element and - hey presto - the table's not there any more but I can still load my list of options from it.
Not to bore you too much, I'm trying to develop an application to use UN/EDIFACT standard messages to pass instructions between banks and their customers (both ways) about business transactions involving trade and exchange finance. This preferably would require data input by the users in standard formats, frequently using codified information, such as Country and Region codes, for example - in other words, lots of chooser fields to allow the user to select an option recognizable to him, such as the plain text name of the State, Province, Region or County, whilst the application passes the correct code to the database. I want to have the code tables available in plain text or CSV format, so that sending out of updates when these tables change is as simple as possible.
I'll post a screenshot when I've worked out how to do it. Thanks again.
Regards, idb
