The HTTP Post plug-in expects a <URL> which is the resource to which the request will be sent, and a <Request> which should be formatted in the syntax dictated by the resource. The result is a text string to be parsed by the application.
The Examples sample application includes 2 different examples:
Note: I found both examples by opening the Example app in the studio, and using the Search -> Tersus Search option to search for HTTP Post.
