You can use any of the following event handlers to your field in order to handle validation: <On Change>, <On Blur>, <On Key Down/Press/Up> - see http://www.tersus.com/#Id=3182 for more details on when each of these is fired.
To implement any of these event handlers, just add a Basic/Action to your input field, and name it accordingly.
