Re: empty string validationDate: Dec 22, 2009If the user has not entered input to that field (and neither did any process), the <Value> element in your field is not empty, but rather does not exist/missing (the distinction is similar to that made in databases between a null value and a zero-length string). Since Is Empty has (by default) a mandatory <Text> trigger, it will not be executed, and therefore will fail to exit.Your options are:

Set the <Text> trigger to non-mandatory (via the context menu, or properties view) - in which case Is Empty will execute and exit via the <Missing> exit, rather than the <Empty> exit.

Replace Is Empty altogether with the Collections/Exists template. Note that Exists can be used to check other types as well, and not just Text type.
