I'm looking into doing this soon-ish, for USB (maybe Bluetooth). I figured in calling an external Java app, not sure if I can cleanly/cross-platform do that from the Console/Terminal. I spotted a couple of Java apps a while ago, which was enough to think I would be able to do it.
First I have to figure on including this with a Tersus install.
