After some very deep deep-sea diving in Tersus SOAP support I'm coming up for another breath of fresh air. Your latest release did the trick, and I have been able to successfully submit credit card transactions to the Cybersource SOAP API. I am also receiving appropriate error messages, when I (intentionally) submit incorrect data.
So, while I'm above water for a moment, I wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for all the great support with the Cybersource SOAP API.
Your exemplary responsiveness and effectiveness have been for above and beyond the "call of duty". You are setting a new standard for product support, and closed source, purely commercial products will have a hard time keeping with this your terrific support for Tersus.
From my perspective as a consultant and program developer, who has to deliver custom solutions to impatient customers, a development tool is only as good as the support I get, when I run into an unexpected and unique problem.
Over the last twenty seven years of product development on numerous platforms, including Vax (VMS), MS DOS, MS Windows, Unix, Xenix, SunOS, MacOS, and Linux, I have had to abandon many expensive (and attractive), commercial development products, because when push came to shove, the lack of support highly diminished their usefulness. I could tell you stories ... Ultimately, a product is only as good as the developers backing it.
After 1.5 years of experience with Tersus and the team that develops and supports it, I must give you the highest marks for being there and producing solutions, whenever needed. This is the second custom backoffice package that I am implementing using Tersus, (you'll recall the first one, that was utilizing PayPal) and after getting used to the high degree of productivity that Tersus provides, as well as your excellent support, I would not want to have to switch to any other tool.
Keep up the great work. I am looking forward to many more years of successfully employing Tersus.
