You may want to look at the attached project, which shows two ways to do simple animation inside Tersus.
Animation.tersus
The first one ("Frames") switches in a sequence. For this kind of animation purpose you probably don't need any external library.
The second one ("Position") modifies the position of an image on screen. This approach can be useful for simple animations, but for richer animations you'll want to use a library (an appropriate library will make the animation smoother and can add effects like easing).
