I'm trying to work through the tersus tutorial and it does not seem to match 1.3.59. There are minor differences before this but it really seems to go off the tracks at page 31 of the pdf. I don't see anying in the imported tutorial 2-3 that looks anything like the Display Data Element screen. And right clicking on the submit buttons does not reveal an option to Add Ancestor Reference.
In general the writing from page 30 (Use a Display Data Element (to retrieve user input)) is not clear. I hoped that by following the tutorial it'd become clear, but because of the issues mentioned above, the tutorial does not match what tersus offers.
