I have no prior experience with this migration tool, so I can't comment
Given that the HSQLDB database is serialized as an sql script (in the file [project_root]/database/[project name].script), you use a text editor to copy the sql statements creating the schema (they are the first part of the file, followed by the actual data), and run them in MySQL.
Alternatively, assuming that the HSQLDB database was created by the studio, and you have not edited it yourself, you could let the studio do the same in MySQL, just make sure the context file has the init_db parameter set to true.
