hi,
Below is a working Context File for standalone server. For me, i use it to interface my Tersus studio to my local Mysql DB instead of using HSQLDB. Hope the below helps.
You can
1) Copy the contents into a file and name the file Configuration.xml2) Move the file into your project directory3) Copy the Mysql j connector (mysql-connector-java-3.1.8-bin.jar for me) into <jre root>\ext\lib4) Manually create the DB in Mysql
<!-- Configuration file template for Tersus embedded server Placeholders should be replaced with appropriate values. See the deployment documentation at http://www.tersus.com/#Id=45 for details--><Application name="MyProj" rootSystem="MyProj/MyProj" authenticationMethod="JDBC"> <Parameter name="init_db" value="true"/> <Parameter name="check_db" value="true"/><!-- Setup of the 'Main' DataSource --> <Resource name="jdbc/Main" driverClassName="com.mysql.jdbc.Driver" maxActive="20" maxIdle="10" maxWait="10000" type="javax.sql.DataSource" username="root" password="passw0rd" url="jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/MyProjDB" validationQuery="select now()"/> <!-- Authentication setup If your application does not require authentication (i.e. it does not use the Authorization module), comment out the following Realm element. --> <!-- <Realm className="org.apache.catalina.realm.JDBCRealm" debug="0" driverName="com.mysql.jdbc.Driver" connectionURL="jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/MyProjDB" connectionName="root" connectionPassword="passw0rd" userTable="Users" userRoleTable="User_Roles" userNameCol="User_ID" userCredCol="Password" roleNameCol="Role"/> --></Application>
