By modelling the calculations - mostly utilizing Math/Sum, while creating table rows from the database records returned from the database.

By defining a database view which includes the relevant calculations. Once the relevant view(s) are defined, there is no need to perform calculations in modelling, and all that's required is to query the view as you would any table.
View definition requires some database management skills, since it is performed using the relevant database client software for your specific database, using the correct sql syntax for that database.
