I've just tried to add a Table Wizard pane into a mobile application, and while it seems to work both in Native and Web settings.
Could it be that you're application has both <Desktop View> (which is empty) and <Mobile View> , and so you're seeing the empty view when accessing the application using a desktop browser?
Regarding offline work:
It is possible to use local sqlite based database storage in Safari, in Android, in iPhone and in Android.
The next version will also include key/value storage in "Local Storage" (which is also supported in Firefox and IE9). We will look at implementing Indexed DB when it becomes a standard.
The bottom line is that it is possible to store data when offline - at least one of our customers has actually implemented such an application for logging technical data off various meters in a power station.
