I have created a very simple project with a list and 20 items. If you click on one of the items, a default dialog opens. This is basically the way I use the list and where I found the problems, that I could not scroll to the last items, without triggering immediately the on click event (I am using an iPhone 3GS with iOS 5.0).
Unfortunetly I could not try this onclick project on a real iPhone environment, since the quick hosting does not seem to work. I uploaded the project, but if I open the app via an iPhone, the process always discontinues while Loading.Please wait... This is also true for my other trial projects on the quick hosting server.
