Can you provide a link to this info? A quick browse of the godaddy site, did not reveal such a limitation in the relevant hosting options ("dedicated server hosting").
I could not find a "shared hosting" option. If you're referring to "web hosting", than please note that this type of hosting seems irrelevant in any case, as it does not provide terminal/remote desktop access to the server, which is required in order to perform the Tersus Server installation procedure described @ http://www.tersus.com/#Id=242.
