The shopping list tutorial requires updating by us before it can be used with version 2.0.5 or later, and thus it includes a disclaimer in its title, referring to 2.0.4 or earlier.
The recommended tutorials for newer versions are the ones appearing @ http://www.tersus.com/#Id=5088.
Regarding version 2.0.8 - note that the post you're referring to was written when 2.0.8 was indeed the latest. but ofcourse that has changed since then with numerous improvements and bug fixes. However the recommendation to upgrade to the latest version remains in tact, as do the instructions on how to do so, which are referred to in the same post, but to save time here they are: http://www.tersus.com/#Id=239.
