The validation view reports of 2 invalid flows, which are described as "The source and target datatypes are not compatible", as in the following screenshot:
So what's needed is to look at the source and target of each, and indeed it seems that both Original Requisition & Updated Status, are of type Nothing, as demonstrated in the following screenshot:
By default triggers added from the palette are type-less and are assigned a type when connected to another element which has a type (such as a data element), through a process called Type Propagation - see http://www.tersus.com/#Tag=Type%20Propagation for additional details.
As explained there, you can also set a trigger to have an explicit type which does not change. If I were to guess I'd say that instead of dragging an empty trigger from the palette, you created it via the context menu, as a predefined Control trigger (which happens to have an explicit Nothing type and then renamed it.
