I'm sorry I was a beginner in Tersus and I encountered many problems.
When I created a new project using the default template Authorization,it works on the studio but didn't on the server. I can't start the application in the tomcat manage page.
I finally found that the mysql did not accept the field of stmp description which was too long.
The medel's location is here:
Initialize Authorization and Variables\Create Variables\SMTP Server Demo Variable\Get Variables\SMTP Server Demo Variable\ the 2nd Text Constants which flowing the Comments Field
"Use the format 'smtp://[username]:[password]@[host]'\n\nThis variable is included by default in the 'Authorization' application template to demonstrate how mandatory variables are handled.\n\nThe variable itself is not required for proper operation of the Authorization application template and may be safely deleted, along with the 'Authorization/Initialize Authorization and Variables/Create Variables/SMTP Server Demo Variable/Get Variable' model which creates it."
You may change it shorter "Use the format 'smtp://[username]:[password]@[host]"
I was still confused that the Tersus server/ WEB-INF/web.xml configuration must used the web.xml.not_authenticated file not the web.xml.authenticated file as you tell us in the Tersus server help page http://www.tersus.com/#Id=242.
When I turned the server authentication on ,the https validation could not let me login;but when turned it off the dialog Login box works well.
Does this template Authorization not require the server authentication function, does it?
The time of I learning Tersus was very short, I did not understand it deeply inside.
Which is better and safer between the Authorization module and the default Authorization template?
