Still getting my feet wet in Tersus and need a hand wrapping my head around Callable Services and HTTP Post functions. Here's what I'm trying to do:
-From the root page of the application you can click a "Start New Game" button which generates a unique ID for the game. It is a sequence number plus a random string. I have this part working already. This ID Code gets stored in a database which holds the rest of the game state information.
-I want the app to generate a URL with the Game ID Code in it such that if they bookmark the page and then, at a later time went to that URL, their game will automatically re-load in whatever state they left it in.
-The app should be able to get the GameIDCode value from the URL and restore the game state from the database.
I know this should be possible just looking at TersusWeb and the Examples projects, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to model it. Where should I start?
Thanks in advance
Bob
