Re: The application server is not runningDate: Jul 9, 2012The Windows installer, bundles a JRE, which might for some reason be the source of your problems. Tersus should work just as well with a separately installed JRE.Try the following:

Exit the studio

Open the studio installation folder (by default should be in C:\Program Files\Tersus Visual Programming Platform)

Rename the jre folder to something else (e.g. jre.bak)

Start the studio

If the studio does not start, you probably do not have an independent JRE installed on your system, so try the following as well:

Open http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html in your browser and download the latest Java SE 6 JRE (not JDK)

Install the JRE you've downloaded, leaving the defaults in tact

Restart the machine if prompted (it might be a good idea to do so any way)

Start the studio

Try launching the server
