David, Thanks for the reply. That all makes sense, and looking closer at my trace log file, you were correct the values get incremented regardless of the fact that the above orange flow executed first.
The problem I was facing turned out to be downstream of this action. I can't provide a screenshot at this moment but what is happening is:
-The AP1 DB structure passes a value to an Add model, to X
-Another "GameState" DB structure passes a value to Y of the same Add model
-The Add model is supposed to pass the sum value back into the AP1 DB structure, into the same field that supplied X. This is akin to what I was doing for Increment, above, yet it does not seem to work.
-On the trace, the Add model is never "Activated" and the flow leading from Sum back into the AP1 DB structure never executes. Instead the action ends after both DB structures pass values to Add.
Why won't the Add structure activate? I've tried a number of different combinations of encapsulating the models and ordering them differently within the action but the same result keeps occuring. The only difference between this and the increment action, which worked correctly, is that here I have an Add model and one term is being supplied by another DB structure.
Thanks agian
