http://www.tersus.com/#Id=2647And had some questions about database design.First, the Database/Sequence Number template. How is this being implemented?
Is program source code creating and maintaining the sequence and insuring
it is being done atomically? Or is it being handled by the database engine?Next, I'm wondering about the Requisition data structure. The Status field
has literal string values in it instead of just having a status_id foreign
key which refers to a Requestion_Status table. Is it common or necessary
in Tersus to model data in a denormalized way like this? See Also:
