Regarding your first post, my guess is that the existing database is not accessed, and instead a new one is being created, containing the default user/roles defined in the authorization module. If this is indeed the case, Super/Super should work, but to be sure I suggest you stop tomcat and then open your database file (D:\workspace\Sus\database\Sus.script) in a text editor and see for yourself.
Your second post seems to indicate that tomcat/Java cannot locate the JDBC driver (hsqldb.jar). Please verify that you've followed the deployment instructions (http://www.tersus.com/#Id=242) with regards to the database connector. Also note that support for Tomcat 7 was introduced in Tersus version 2.1.23 (see http://www.tersus.com/#Id=7373), so please make sure you're using an up-to-date version.
If you're still having trouble, I suggest you attach a full log file in reply.
