Hi Alan,
We bundle HSQLDB with the studio, and use it as a default when running the application in the embedded server, but for deployment purposes (using the server) it is treated as any other RDBMS (MySQL, Postgres, etc.), accessed via the server-side.
When you refer to stand-alone applications I presume you mean native mobile ones, and such applications include only the client-side part of the application, with a server-side one (if required) deployed as any web application.
In other words, HSQLDB is NOT included in the native (or offline-web) app. There is a separate client-side database implementation which can be used in native mobile applications, under certain limitations as describe in http://www.tersus.com/#Id=3219.
The purpose of the Table Wizard is not to migrate database schema, but rather to build a tabular UI for data with advanced paging, sorting and filtering capabilities. The table wizard is integrated with Import Structure for DB wizard (via the Import Fields button - see http://www.tersus.com/#Id=6423) to import existing table/view definitions in the database (creating the matching Database Record structure in the model).
I hope this answers your questions, but if not please let us know.
Regards,
David
