Since Tersus-based native mobile apps are based on Cordova/PhoneGap, it might be possible to implement this - see for example http://devgirl.org/2013/07/17/tutorial-implement-push-notifications-in-your-phonegap-application/.
However, it would be rather complicated to impelement, and is not something we have attempted to do thusfar in any of the commercial projects in which we are involved.
