Further addition: i just saw this fix in 2.2.6 "Fix for click events on Windows / Chrome with touchscreen".
I just did a quick test with 2.2.7 and that seems to fix my problem.
To use the full functionality of this web site, JavaScript needs to be turned on.
For best results, use the Firefox browser..
