Seems like sort by pinyin works. The sort by ChineseChar is seen not to work the same way as pinyin. Sorting by pinyin seems good enough. Not sure what order you are you looking to sort by as there are no alphabets in Chinese characters.
Maybe you can elaborate what order you are looking to sort by. If you feel easier to express the order you want to sort by in Chinese, you can respond in Chinese as I'm Chinese and can understand.
