I still don't understand.
Are you successfully accessing INBOX, and the problem is with other folders?
Note that I don't think Get Mail was ever used to retrieve messages from other folders by any of our users. That's certainly true for projects we've developd ourselves, where the use case was to retrieve notifications of events sent via email from another system to a dedicated mailbox.
