JDBC is a rather stable standard, and given that Tersus supports older versions of Postgres, I'd assume it works out-of-the-box for newer versions as well.
Have you tried using the specific version and failed? If not I suggest you do.
If you've encountered problems, I suggest you setup with the (granted older) versions of the DBMS & JDBC drivers mentioned @ http://www.tersus.com/#Id=242, and once that works, try upgrading to newer version gradually.
