The major advantage of Tersus Events is the ability to plan the events together with the people you are inviting. For example, if you plan a trip with a few friends, you may want to consult the participants regarding the type of the trip, its date and its destination. You can then coordinate preparation tasks and other important details.
The collaboration of the participants is achieved through a questionnaire you create for the event. You start with the basic RSVP question, asking your invited friends to say whether they intend to attend. Then you add additional questions and specify the possible answers for each question. For example, you can ask "When do you prefer to have the trip?" and allow for 3 options: "This weekend", "Next Weekend", "Other Time". Each friend you invite will be able to select one of the answers, and also add a comment.
Any invited friend can see the answers of all other invitees, so people can coordinate their answers to increase the chances to reach a consensus. The organizer of the event can add questions or modify existing questions till the event details are finalized.

Once you have Tersus Events, you can access events to which you have been invited by your friends, or create new events of your own.
Note that as of March 2008, Tersus Events has not been officially launched yet, so its appearance and functionality are still changing.
