Application orientation

Hi,

So very new to all this and following the tutorials seem to confuse just as much as they help. Anyways, when making the application how do I switch orientation of the application? It seems that default runs in horizontal mode and so far all it seems that all mine end up being horizontal when previewed in browser. One tutorial I was following showed that the application in preview mode should be vertical however looking back at the instruction I could find no instruction how this was accomplished.

Any advice would be great!

Slow flow

Hello!

New version seems to works fine (retyping triggers etc.), so just maybe one modeling performance issue is left:

putting a flow from trigger to exit or from exit to trigger is very slow while using mouse to do it, but if setting properties - very fast (like renaming now)

In one of the iPhone pages (I forget which one) it has a link to the Mac version of Tersus Studio:

Offline applications - which way you plan to go?

In the latest platform change log you wrote:

"Added missing images to default list of offline resources (for offline applications, esp. iPhone web applications)"

We are curious, what did you meant writing offline applications?

Do you plan to give us a tool to create offline applications for Windows/Linux

you plan to do something based on systems like Google Gears, where user who lost his connection to the Internet can still work offline and normally work with local db? After reconnection the data would be synchronized.

Windows Vista 64 bit Version and Mac Studio

Hiya,

I'm still seeing a 32 bit version in the Downloads area for Windows, will you be releasing a 64 bit version?

Also: Will you be releasing a Studio version for OS X? Makes it easier for installs when you've got a few developers on different platforms.

Using Plugins with Tersus

Hi Guys, first of all, sorry my english, im not used to write in english. Well, i a have a doubt about developing plugins for Tersus. I already done the script for developing plugins, but i not sure about using these features i have made. In this script called "tersus_plugin_development.
pdf" wich can be found on your web site doesnt have an explanation about how to use these new Plugins, etc. So, my question is. Once already done the script, how can i use in a new tersus project?

Server Side Put Map Entry

Hi :)

Put Map Entry method to translate labels, tables etc. looks (more or less) like this for now:

Let's say I have 150 Map Entries.

When initializing the View, it takes about half of init time just for passing those entries to Pun Map Entry models.

I think if I could pass such data on the server side, time would shorten a lot, so perfomance boost is significant. My idea is described on the picture below:

What do you think about it?

Client-side database support

Hello!

You wrote in your Platform Change Log:

"This version also some changes related to client-side database support on webkit browsers, but these features are not enabled yet."

Our team is very curious what this "client-side database support" really is.
Is it something like Google Gears functionality, where you can store and manage database data even when you're offline in a very simple (javascript) way?
We are interested in what direction you are going with your idea and why only on webkit browsers.

Our team and probably not only is looking forward for some offline database management backup from your environment. That would bring internet apps closer and closer to desktop functionality.

Constants And Structures

Hello!

When we want to see how specific action works, we just double click on this action i repository explorer (no changes in filesystem are made). When it comes to Constants and Structures, we need to first move models to developing space and then we see what it contains (in case of big structures - usually not). Disadvantage is we make changes in filesystem this way and it's longer way.

So it would be nice if we could see those Constants and Structures in similar way (double click) as we can look at actions.

Move Model search

Hi!

Move model is GREAT feature, however maybe you could extend time between pressing keys and doing search (when typing in 'type filter text'). In large apps it hangs a little while there's no need to search anything while i'm writing.

UTF to ASCII

Hi!

Could you provide model called UTF 2 ASCII where

Input - Text

Output - Text

And mechanism i.e.:

INPUT: 'ąÁÄÛêñü'

OUTPUT: 'aAAUenu'

So, the localized letters are changed to ASCII - but in 'intuitive way'

It'd be for sending ASCII SMS messages to customers in different countries.

I bet there's function like that in Java, don't know about JavaScript, so even Server-side function like that would be great.

Tip: Branche by Type

It would be nice if you can select in the "Branche by Type" via Add Element the several types like "Date and Time", "Text", Number", etc.

Or replace the current "Type 1", "Type 2" with some of the more common types, now you have always to change them.

Absolute value of number.

Hello!

It would be really nice to find "Absolute value of number" in palette. I mean, model which could do this kind of operation:

input: (-5)

exit:5

input: 2

exit: 2

Im aware that I can do the same by checking if number is smaller then zero and if yes, multiplying by (-1), but its just a suggestion...

Validation/Open containing context

If an error occurs after validating, and select the error row I always have to click on "Open containg text" (and in most times I get the popup "Zoom limit reached").

It would be nice after selecting the error row, the action "Open containg text" is executed.

A small improvement

Using a display module in "parent-mode", subpanes are always closed by default. Is it possible via a <double-click> to open these, because if there are many flows from these, it's difficult to open:
