A new template - Collections/Group Items (released in version 1.0.7) , makes it easy to group items based that share a certain value.
The action receives a list of items to be sorted in advance by the given "Key Element" and returns "Groups" of consecutive items that share the key.
In a typical usage scenario (like the one in the screnshot above), the items are pre-sorted by the key field.
Each group is returned as a structure that contains the key value and a list of items:
The "Group Items" action is fully modeled (and is modeled generically using "Anything" and "Get Element"). Since this is a template, you can modify the internal model to suit specific needs.
