Open Login Dialog launches as <On Click> on the 'login' label inside of the Action Row of a page and also as <On Login> in the main part of the page. I'd like to understand what the duplication there actually achieves so that I can design good applications. I'd also like to better understand the <Name> event definitions actually function. The <On Click> ones make sense to me, but the <On Login> and <On Contact Us> are a little less clear. It took me a lot of digging on this site to finally figure out what <Welcome> is because there isn't good documentation about this area of the application flow.
It also seems like the documentation is just missing how the Request-Response process works in general. Even after kind of figuring out what <Welcome> does, I don't fully understand if it is just default behavior if the View can't be determined or if all of the application Request-Response of tersus.web flows through that one Action.
I'd be willing to write up any missing documentation that is revealed in responses to this post.
