Have finished the tutorial for Mobile developement for 2.1.7 and am now trying to do an Android application. Have some queries below and hope you can help.
1) The guestbook seem rather slow in starting up on my Samsung GT-I5801. The application i did also have the same problem. The slowness is about 3 to 4 sec to start the app and feel its quite slow compared to other apps on the phone which starts in less than a second. Not sure is it because of the large size of the APPNAME-debug.apk. Is there a way to speed up loading?
2) Is it usual for the APPNAME-debug.apk generate to be so large? (ie near 1MB for the Guestbook app and my simple app)
3) Tried javascript:startTrace() and it does not seem to work in Chrome or Safari, so could not do debugging of native mobile app the usual way i did for web app. Was wondering how i can perform native mobile app debugging the same way for web app?
